Over 25% of people looking for a new role

New research has found that 45% of workers have increased their workloads, and 62% experience a faster pace of work. Consequently, many are turning to artificial intelligence (AI) for assistance.

The survey revealed that 62% of people have seen their workplaces speed up over the past year, and 28% plan to leave their current employer within twelve months. In contrast, during the "Great Resignation" of 2022, 19% resigned. Among those looking to leave, 67% cite the opportunity to learn new skills as their main motivation, with only 46% saying their current employer provides such opportunities.

A significant 82% expect AI to become integral to their daily tasks, enhancing efficiency within the next 12 months. Additionally, 49% believe that Generative AI (GenAI) technology will lead to higher salaries in the near future, and 72% think it will improve work quality.

Skills development is crucial, with 51% of respondents stating that job-related skills will likely change in the next five years. Despite the high number of employees considering a move, 60% are 'moderately satisfied' with their current jobs, a 6% increase from 2023.

Financial struggles persist for over half (52%) of the respondents, yet the number of people with money left over at the end of the month has risen to 45%, a 7% increase from 2023.
